Glacier National Park

Miles Traveled: 0 (Glacier National Park and Kalispell, Montanta)

This was a truly awesome day.  We traveled about 30 miles from Kalispell to tour Glacier National Park.  I am going to overload you with photos of our day to share with you the splendor of this national park.

We hiked on one of the marked trails.  Not more the fifty yards in Adam was digging through fresh scat with a stick.  He determined it was from a horse and we moved forward.

We were welcomed on our hike by this Mule Deer.  She was not timid in the least and got extremely close.  As we moved forward on our trek we saw three more in the trees.

I carried Claire in one backpack and Adam carried Nolan in another.

We didn't complete the trail, but we made it almost two miles round trip.

Waterfall in McDonald Lake.  It was so loud we practically had to shout to talk to one another.

On the bridge over the rapids.

Adam, Jack, and Claire checking out the water close up.

Our picnic lunch view

Skipping Rocks

Throwing Sticks

We ended our night with a lasagna dinner and ice cream.  I'd say Claire was a fan of both!
